Any injection can hurt, but the needles used for BOTOX® and fillers are very small. BOTOX® injections are usually less painful than fillers. Local numbing cream can be used prior to lip filler as well.

This is very common question. To make it as simple as possible: BOTOX® is injected into your muscle to temporarily limit muscle movement while filler is injected to add volume. They can be used together or separate pending desired goals.
BOTOX®’s mechanism blocks the transmission of a nerve impulse to tell the muscle to move, thus it is reducing the ability to wrinkle.
Filler is composed of hyaluronic acid which is a highly hydrophilic component of collagen. HA adds volume and hydration by attracting the water inside our skin. Thus, giving your skin natural and refreshing enhancement.

We ask you plan your treatments accordingly so we can best plan and optimize your desired look. Bruising, redness, swelling are all very common side effects of injectables and takes a few days to subside.
